Our History

Oxford Band Movers started in 2008, when Seth Davis bought one old truck and began offering local moves. The goal was clear: handle every customer’s belongings with care and complete moves on time.

Key Milestones

2008: Seth Davis worked alone at first, managing all lifting, driving, and scheduling. The business grew through word of mouth.
2010: In 2010, Oxford Band Movers opened its first secure storage facility. Many customers needed short-term storage between homes or offices. We also began selling packing materials.
2015: In 2015, we invested in digital tools: online estimates, scheduling, and vehicle tracking. This improved efficiency and customer transparency.
2019: By 2019, we added services for moving pianos, antiques, office machinery, spas, and pool tables. Specialized training cut damage rates and boosted trust.
2020: COVID-19 in 2020 slowed the industry. Oxford Band Movers adapted with contactless estimates, sanitation protocols, and flexible slots. We kept crews working and clients moving safely.
2023: By 2023, we had over 20 movers and packers. Every move came with insurance for client peace of mind. Local referrals stayed our main growth driver.
2024: In 2024, Oxford Band Movers expanded into long-distance and multi-state moves while keeping local service strong. We handled more commercial jobs, growing expertise in business relocations.
